Overview
Versa Drives’ AC compressor controller is designed for 230 V single-phase input and three-phase compressor motors in the ~1.5 kW class. It is a compact, field-proven drive built specifically for residential and light-commercial HVAC systems such as air conditioners and heat pumps.
Using a linear V/F control strategy with integrated protections, blower/fan relays, and an RS-232 interface, this controller gives OEMs a complete solution to drive standard HVAC compressors with precise speed control and improved energy efficiency.
