Our drive performs speed control on fan motors to achieve various speeds for a wide range of heating or cooling loads. In a typical HVAC system, our drive controls the fan motor operation of its various components, which are condenser, compressor and evaporator. Passengers in vehicle cabin enter the set point temperature and the drive detects the actual cabin temperature. Based on the difference between these temperatures, our drive performs variable speed and torque control on the fan motors of the HVAC system components. In case of compressor, our drive monitors and runs the motor at desired speed and torque to rotate the AC compressor as required. The drive controls speed of condenser fan to accomplish proper liquefaction of the refrigerant for cabin temperature to reach the set temperature. Next is the fan of blower in evaporator, whose motor is operated and controlled at various speeds. Based on the blower motor speed, cabin is cooled and ventilated to ultimately attain the desired comfort.
